Care about your brand copy?
Let’s do it justice.
Littering your copy with stale buzzwords and sales clichés won’t inspire action. Your copy represents you. It should drive people to connect with the story behind your brand — and to believe every word of it.
If that isn’t happening, you need to find a copywriter who cares.
That’s where I come in.
I better introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Maddie.
I'm a Bristol-based copy/content writer with a head full of creative ideas. On a daily basis, I take these ideas, tweak them a bit, then transform them into text.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t that what the other 204 million copywriters in the world do?
Well, technically, yes. But not all copy is created equal.
I go beyond just ‘getting the job done’ because I care about your copy and want people to love it.
And, most importantly, I want you to love it.

My approach to copy
A few things you should know:
The ideas are mine, but the words belong to your brand. Need someone to nail your TOV? Tone of voice guidelines are there for a reason. Even if I happen to be the one creating them, my job is to represent your brand, and that means using the right tone for your business.
I do my research. I’m only human, so I don’t profess to know everything about everything. Occasionally, I draw from my own experiences, but in most cases, I’ll be studying your website, learning from your competitors, and sleuthing out the best research from your industry.
I know my way around an SEO tool. Agency marketing taught me a lot of things — including SEO. With clever keywords and some subtle link building, I’ve helped a fair few clients to rank on page 1. So, if you’d like me to optimise your content, just say so!
I go over the brief with a fine-tooth comb. When you put a brief in front of me, I take time to digest it. I won’t weigh you down with endless questions and queries, but I might ask for extra info if I feel something’s been missed.
Why? Because mutual understanding saves time and money.
